OFFICIAL SOURCES

Official sources and review dates.

We use program administrators and their published documents for rebate rules. The review dates show when we last checked the information.

Program, eligibility and manufacturer sources

We prioritize official program administrators and government eligibility lists. Manufacturer pages are used to describe equipment, not to prove that a specific matched system qualifies for a rebate.

The source register below is intentionally curated. Individual AirZone product pages remain linked from the equipment guide, but they do not need to be repeated here as separate evidence for every model.

How we use sources: program rules come from program administrators; heat-pump eligibility is checked against the program-required NRCan list; manufacturer pages are used for product characteristics only. A manufacturer page by itself does not prove rebate eligibility.

Carrier Canada

Infinity 27VNA1 Ultimate Cold Climate heat pump

Independent manufacturer reference outside AirZone’s current catalogue. Carrier identifies the 27VNA1 as a current cold-climate, ENERGY STAR-certified model; HRS eligibility still requires the exact matched system to appear on NRCan’s active list.

When something is unclear

If official sources disagree or a detail cannot be confirmed, we flag it instead of guessing. That is currently the case for the separate Better Homes Ottawa heat-pump incentive amount.

For equipment, the exact system proposed for a home still needs to be checked against the applicable program before a homeowner relies on a rebate.
